Retired...ya right!
Cameron and I fell in love with the Ruby Valley and Sheridan Montana in the summer of 2017. On vacation that summer and driving the loop... we knew immediately, we wanted to retire and move to Sheridan. We made a plan: go home, sell our farm, retire from a 38-year career with the Electric Company, and return as soon as we could, hopefully in time for the fly fishing season! We thought we would fly fish and camp during the summer, Baja all winter. No SNOW or cold...Great plan right? Most of that idea worked out just fine, except the retired part…
Carrie has always had a passion to bake bread and started selling it at local farmers markets in the communities of Twin Bridges, Sheridan, and Alder. Many events sold out immediately or within a short amount of time. We also have always baked pizza for our family and friends. The Ruby Valley wanted more. Folks tracked us down and ordered our offerings for their freezer. We knew we needed a storefront if we wanted to continue baking. A building opened up right next to the Ruby Valley Brew in Sheridan, and Bread Zepplin was created in the summer of 2019.
